Canulated Double-Compression Screws and Accessories

    As innovation are the thread flanks of both threads of these screws directed towards each other. This prevents brittle bone fragments from occurring and thus also allowing the use in small fractures or large corrections. Maximum sustained compression is achieved with the use of a small thread with larger thread flanks together with a highly conical thread head with aggressive flanks. The screws can be screwed flush with the bone and still have a large range of settings for the compression.

  • The development of the color-coded, double-compression screw and its innovative instrumentation was designed for all known problem areas:

  • A too low compression range of the commonly used screws leads to a lower holding time of the compression for achieving a necessary primary stability

  • The spick-wire fixation of the bone fragments offers a high degree of safety, especially when using smaller fragments

  • It avoids unnecessary pre-drilling with normal bone density and is thus less traumatic

  • The screw is easier to reconstruct through the conical proximal end of the screw

  • The complete system reduces the usual high number of operating steps needed by other systems on the market
