McPhails needle holders are similar to Mathieu needle holders, but have a soft copper insert.
It has a circumferential lock and a spring. When the handle is pressed together completely, it opens again and spans into the sewer's hand. This makes it easier to use and, especially for sutures that require frequent repositioning, it saves time and effort.
