gigasept® FF (new) is a succinic dialdehyde-based preparation for the manual disinfection of surgical and sensitive medical instruments.

Instructions for use
- Concentrate that is diluted with cold water to the desired application concentration.
- 1 liter of a 6% working solution corresponds to 940 ml of water and 60 ml of gigasept® FF (new).
- Place the endoscopes and instruments to be reprocessed in the gigasept® FF (new) solution.
- Ensure complete wetting, even with hollow instruments, and allow to take effect.
- After disinfection, rinse/flush the instruments thoroughly with water of at least drinking water quality, preferably with sterile distilled or deionized water, to completely remove any solution residue.
- Bactericidal: 5% – 15 min., 4% – 30 min., 2% – 60 min.
- Yeasticidal: 5% – 15 min., 4% – 30 min., 2% – 60 min.
- Limited virucidal: 1% – 15 min.
- Fungicidal: 6% – 60 min.
- Virucidal: 6% – 60 min.
Standing time
- A standing time of 7 days applies if the working solution is used exclusively to disinfect previously cleaned instruments.
- If visibly contaminated, the disinfectant solution must be replaced.
